Today, Pastors Jeff and Alison teamed up to bring us “An Also”. Stories of Olympians like the Jamaican Bobsled Team of 1988 and Eddie the Eagle were compared to Paul’s words to Timothy (2 Timothy 4:7) in an effort to remind us that even when we hit a wall, we must push forward and persevere. God wants us to push through the trying times in our lives and he is always with us. If these Olympians had not pushed on, records would not have been  set, personal goals would not have been met and the world would think of them as just someone who tried and failed. With perseverance, the Olympians mentioned were able to create a legacy that lives on forever.
