How are you feeling today?

Are you still frustrated, tired and just wondering when we will get back to “normal”?  It is so hard to make plans right now. Being unendingly flexible and constantly pivoting plans can be tiresome and confusing but guess what, Jesus says in Matthew 11:28-30, “Come to me, all you who are struggling hard and carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest. Put on my yoke, and learn from me. I’m gentle and humble. And you will find rest for yourselves. My yoke is easy to bear, and my burden is light.”

It is more important than ever that we stay connected to Jesus and stay connected to each other. But how can we stay connected with each other when we’re not meeting in the church building on Sunday mornings? We can call each other, we can pray for each other, we can join a small group, and connect in so many other ways.

The Community Zoom Groups are a great way to stay connected to the church and each other while we grow together in Christ. Meeting online with our group each week has made it much easier to handle this new “normal”.

Our 6-week Spring Community Groups, starting April 25, 2021, will go over some quick discussion topics online through Zoom – no preparation, reading or study necessary. Registration will begin on Friday, April 16, 2021. We hope you will join us! Sign up for a group here: https://shor.by/fmk_Spring2021CGSignup

This is intentionally not a bible study, and the goals for community groups are:

1.) Christian growth – this is about asking yourself about your relationship with God
2.) Relationship building – meeting new people you might not have otherwise!

We’ll be going back to basics this session looking at “The Walk: Five Essential Practices of the Christian Life” by Adam Hamilton.

We hope you will join us again!

Let’s stay connected.
