How are you feeling today?

Are you still frustrated, tired and just wondering when we will get back to “normal”?  It is so hard to make plans right now; I can’t even imagine what teachers are going through as they are getting ready for school to begin. Being unendingly flexible and constantly pivoting plans can be tiresome and confusing but guess what, Jesus says in Matthew 11:28-30, “Come to me, all you who are struggling hard and carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest. Put on my yoke, and learn from me. I’m gentle and humble. And you will find rest for yourselves. My yoke is easy to bear, and my burden is light.”

It is more important than ever that we stay connected to Jesus and stay connected to each other. But how can we stay connected with each other when we’re not meeting in the church building on Sunday mornings? We can call each other, we can pray for each other, we can join a small group, and connect in so many other ways.

The Summer Community Zoom Groups have been a great way to stay connected to the church and each other while we grow together in Christ these past months. For me, meeting online with our group each week made it much easier to handle this new “normal”. I encourage you to join a Fall Online Community Group when registration opens on August 23rd.

Let’s stay connected.
