The following three classes use the Revised Common Lectionary (a collection of readings from the Bible) for their weekly study and follow the outline of the Christian year. This provides a systematic approach to the use of Scripture in worship.

Breakthrough Young Adult Study
   Location: Church Parlor (the room just across from the Welcome Center)
 
Our BREAKTHROUGH group is intended for millennials at First United Methodist Church Killeen! We will breakthrough all the struggles and challenges we face together so that we can hear and share the word of God. More info on the young adult ministries page HERE.

Navigators Class

Various Christian books are read and discussed in this group, open to all ages and walks of life. The group is currently going through the life of Paul. Biblical study is also used in relation to the books.

Why I Am A United Methodist – Starting Sunday, April 19th!

Why are YOU a United Methodist? Our second of these classes will begin on Sunday, April 19, 2020. We will go through the book, “Why I Am A United Methodist”, answering your questions about YOUR faith. In six short weeks we will explore the history, the teaching and the theology that makes us Methodists. The classes will be offered regularly throughout the year. If you cannot answer the question as to Why YOU are a United Methodist, please join us and get the answers you need! See you there!

This 18+ group for young adults uses short-term, novel and video-based sessions through RightNow Media that includes discussion and bible study, as well as a daily plan using BibleStudyTogether.com and TheBibleProject.com.
