Youth Revolution Activities
A Revolution is a radical change in one’s way of living. Let’s face it. There is a lot of stuff we don’t like in the world and maybe even in our lives, but change is possible. Change begins when each of us makes the choice to turn away from the destructive forces of selfishness, immorality, alcohol and drugs, prejudice and so many other things that steal away our future. More than that, it’s turning our hearts toward God and His Son, Jesus Christ, allowing God’s Word to guide us in each step of the amazing journey He has for us. Events During the Week
Sunday Morning Small Groups - Join us on Sunday mornings from 10:00 to 10:55 a.m. During this time we break into small groups for Junior High and Senior High. We look at today’s issues and topics through the lens of the Bible. We meet in the Youth area.
Sunday Night Revolution - Join us every Sunday night from 5:15 to 7:30 p.m. Dinner is served at 5:15, bring $2 to help cover the meal cost. After dinner we join in games, small group time and prayer. Revolution begins in the Fellowship Hall.
Wild on Wednesdays- Join us in the youth area on Wednesday nights from 4:00pm-7:00pm. Hang out, work on homework, play Nintendo Wii and enjoy our snack bar. Dinner is served in the fellowship hall from 5:15pm-6:00pm and costs $5.
Events Throughout the Year
Midwinter Retreat (February) - This event takes us off site for an overnight retreat as we join other churches in our Conference for worship, games, food and fellowship.
30 Hour Famine (April) - Be part of our annual 30 Hour Famine! We team up with other local churches to serve our community and raise awareness for hunger around the world. Are you up to the challenge of fasting and serving for 30 Hours? Do something Revolutionary – Do the Famine!
CTCYM Mission Trip (Summer) - Every year we travel to a community in need of assistance. Through building and yard work we join the Conference in an effort to make a difference! It’s not all work though, we also play games, worship and feast on delicious food!
Thunderous Thursdays (Summer) - Thunderous Thursday is built on fun! On Thursday nights you can find us playing paintball, enjoying a Round Rock Express game, or watching a movie at the Drive-In and many other activities in the area.
Sweat and Swims (Summer) - When not on a Thunderous Thursday adventure, we are hard at work. We spend the morning doing yard work, enjoy some lunch and then it is time to play in the pool!
ShinDigUhDuh (August) - This is a week long celebration before we head back to school. There will be live music, speakers, games that will make you laugh and games that will make you gag. Bring all your friends and be ready for a week of fun, worship, food and friends.
