Transfer from another United Methodist Church
Transferring your church membership to First United Methodist Church, Killeen means making a vow of commitment of prayer, presence, gifts, service, and witness to the church. We invite you to join this community of faith. Just come forward to the Altar when the Pastor gives the Invitation.
Transfer from another Denomination
The United Methodist Church recognizes your baptism and can transfer your church membership from another denomination. Rebaptism isn’t necessary, since God was present at your first baptism. Simply come forward to the Altar when the Pastor gives the Invitation.
By Profession of Faith and Baptism
A person who begins the Christian life in the church does so through a profession of faith and by baptism, which is a symbol of God’s grace through Jesus. For a child, youth or adult, this is when God acts in our life so that we may start a new life of faith, commitment and covenant with God. If you are ready to accept God’s sacrament of Baptism and profess your Faith, proudly come forward to the Altar when the Pastor gives the Invitation.
